I usually don't answer calls from phone numbers I don't recognize. It was December 3rd of last year and I was waiting in the Walmart parking lot for a customer to finish up. A call was coming in on my personal phone with a Virginia number. Holy Spirit told me to answer it.... so I did. 

Much to my surprise, the woman on the other end was calling from CBN (Christian Broadcasting Newtwork) and wanted to speak to me regarding my book Taxicab Testimonies. She had received information about it and was interested in interviewing me to be on the 700 Club. This totally blew my mind.... only God could do this!

I spent the next 45 minutes telling her my story. Miracle after miracle, testimony after testimony. I shared my entire testimony, including how the Lord brought Sedrick into my life and set him free after being locked up for 24 years. She was intrigued. There were so many possibilities to explore. She told me she was going to talk to the producers and get back to me. 

I was completely in awe. I remember as a little girl, seeing the 700 Club on television. Now, they were contacting me to be on it. Only Jesus! 

I heard from her almost immediately. She told me they wanted to hear more. A researcher for the show contacted us and we spent several hours sharing lots of details with her regarding our lives and all the Lord has done in and through us. 

By the beginning of March, they had approved our story. In July two producers and two camera men showed up at our home. We spent all day filming. It was a long day but it was fun and so worth it. 

On August 18th, the segment featuring our story was released across the world. As we sat and watched it on live TV, we could feel the presence of God so strongly. Spending half of your life in prison is nothing to be glorified.... but what God did.... He gets all the glory. 

This is only the beginning! This is not the end. We are believing God has much more in store!
